Ron Alvarez is an IP Investigations Specialist. He is a former NYPD lieutenant where he investigated robbery, narcotics, internal affairs, and fine art cases. As a private investigator Ron has investigated international fraud and money laundering cases, as well as conducting IP related investigations and research involving the four pillars of IP: copyright, patents, trademarks and trade secrets.
Ron is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, and earned a B.A. in Government and Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan. He is certified by the Interpol IP Crime Investigators College as a transnational and organized crime IP investigator.
Ron is a member of the FBI National Academy Associates, a fraternal network of senior law-enforcement FBI/NA graduates from all over the world.
